Destination: AnywhereThe Army has authorized me to pursue joint use of Wheeler-Sack Army Airfield at Fort Drum to allow commercial airlines to operate there. That way, Soldiers, their Family members and our North Country neighbors could be able to catch a commercial jet at Fort Drum instead of having to drive to Syracuse. If we can make this happen - where would you want to fly to?

Are We At War Or What?I usually get one or two off-topic comments in the blog each week that aren't posted. But I am posting this comment under a separate heading because I wanted to get your honest thoughts. Here goes:

Staying In Touch While DeployedWhile deployed, how easy/difficult has it been to stay in touch with your loved ones? What are the best ways?

Assignment to Fort DrumThere are still many Soldiers who do not seek assignment to Fort Drum. Other than the weather, is there something we should work  on to make Fort Drum a more desirable assignment?

Live Chat with the Commanding General?I am interested in starting an on-line chat session for about an hour a week - is there any interest?

Thank you for all you have done. Especially for taking care of and supporting each other during your long journey in Kirkuk. I know that a simple Thank You hardly seems like much, but it truly comes from my heart. My daughter, Sgt Jasmin Ringlaben, traveled with you on your journey. You will never know how grateful I am that she came home. Since one person does not fight a war alone, I owe each and every one of you a debt of gratitude. My prayers continue to be for all of you. THANK YOU!
